Develop and establish a pump system to ensure that pumping infrastructure could be safety and
easily installed/removed for maintenance and also enhance operational reliability.

Existing river pump performance was compromised due to locational and environmental issues therefore an alternative method for river pump placement and retrieval addressing inherent problems was developed.
Preparation of site including clearing and levelling of embankment, excavation of river bed, concrete plinth was conducted by J.A.C. Pump Services along with supply and installation of all pumping infrastructure.
Careful pump selection was required to ensure system compatibility requirements were met and 85l/s of river water could be pumped into existing network of pipes and pumps.
