PROJECT
REPLACE RAW WATER PUMP STATION
DESCRIPTION
Design, fabricate & install two raw water supply pontoons to meet variable system requirements.
Pontoons to operate in single and/or dual operation.
INDUSTRY SECTOR
Municipal.
INFRASTRUCTURE
Two submersible pontoon assemblies c/w all associated infrastructure.
Each pontoon fitted with 2 x 240kW booster modules to provide maximum duty point
requirement of 110L/sec at 224m head.
Dedicated piping system integrated into existing delivery pipeline.
Site construction and Anchorage works as necessary.
Electrical power and control equipment.
DETAILS
This strategy was developed to enhance raw water sourcing from a specific, remote location.
Submersible pontoon mounted pump stations, free to rise and fall with source water level,
provide replacement for the adjacent, ageing pump station.
The buoyant pontoon infrastructure, pumps directly into the existing distribution pipework
system.
Specific system operational requirements are catered for by ‘state of the art’ control technology.
The ability to operate with changeable water level, is inherent by nature of design.
